/I have a crush on Red Hook, Brooklyn. It certainly has its negatives (lack of transportation being a big one) but I find it very charming. Parts of it feels like what I guess Tribeca was like in the 70’s. Cobblestone streets, old industrial warehouses and waterfront views. There are also some great restaurants. In terms of real estate, I was very impressed by the King & Sullivan Townhouse development completed last year and I am sure there is more to come. It is ripe for becoming an “it” neighborhood in the next few years. Here are a few “neighborhood secrets.”
