Some 2025 Staging Trends

This year it seems buyers are continuing to move away from stark, all-white minimalism and embracing warmer, more character-filled interiors. Earthy tones, layered textures, and soft, cozy elements will be key in staging to create a welcoming, lived-in feel.

Sustainably focused buyers are drawn to natural fibers and organic textures so staging will incorporate more wood, stone, and rattan, along with plants and fresh flowers or branches to create a fresh and appealing aesthetic. Rather than a one-size-fits-all look, staging professionals are also leaning into mixing vintage styles with more modern pieces. This tailored approach helps homes feel more authentic and liveable  – and has been a big trend in NYC specifically.

All buyers want to feel like they’re stepping into a high-end space, even in more modest spaces. Thoughtful details like curated coffee stations, spa-like bathrooms and interesting lighting always help elevate the perceived value of a property.

Additionally, with hybrid work becoming more the norm, buyers are prioritizing homes that offer versatile spaces. Staging will highlight flexible areas— like stylish home offices, comfortable reading nooks or even workout corners to showcase how a home can adapt to different needs.
